Can I apply for an RRB Group D with a Diploma?

RRB Group D’s Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

The Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age Criteria

The candidates whose minimum age is above than 18 years and less than 33 years can apply for the post of RRB Group D Examination.

Educational Qualification

Candidate must have passed 10^th (Matriculation) from a recognized board of Indian Government.OR

The candidate needs to complete the ITI (approved by NCVT/SCVT) in any specific trade to apply for this post.

Category: Age Relaxation

SC/ST candidates: 5 years

OBC candidates                           :                  3 years

Ex-servicemen candidates: Up to the extent of service                                                                               rendered in Defence + 3 years

Candidates with disabilities: 10 Years

PWD OBC: 13 years

PWD SC/ ST: 15 years

Candidates have been domiciled in J&K: 5 years

Major changes in Eligibility Criteria of this year: -

Ø  The age limit has been increased by two years.

Ø  The limitation of the ITI or Diploma has been removed.

Ø  The candidate can choose any kind of Paper language among 151 Languages.

Is Coaching necessary for RRB Group D?

No, coaching is not necessary at all. If you are capable enough to solve all the question up to the level of Matriculation, then there is no need of Coaching but you find little difficulty with the pattern or style of the examination then you must enrol yourself for practice with latest pattern based Railway test Series.
